Government wont allow to destroy harmony: Mulayam
Wednesday, July 6 2005 16:59 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today (July 6, 2005) said his government would not allow those trying to whip up communal frenzy to visit the disputed site at Ayodhya in the wake of terrorist attack. "Those who seek to destroy the secular fabric of the society will be stopped," Yadav told reporters here when asked whether VHP leaders will be allowed to visit the temple premises.

He, however, said veteran leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L K Advani and George Fernandes would not be stopped if they wanted to go there. "If Atalji wants to visit, we will allow him with due respect. We will also allow Advani and Fernandes visit the site," he told reporters here.
