New Delhi:
India yesterday night (July 7, 2005) condemned in the 'strongest terms' the serial blasts in London underground stations and a bus, and said the entire world has a common cause against terrorism.
"We are all one in our resolve to root out this menace," the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) said in a resolution in New Delhi.
"The CCPA expressed its profound sense of sorrow and outrage at the terrorist violence and bomb blasts in London on July seven resulting in the tragic loss of life and suffering," said the resolution read out by Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee after an hour-long meeting of the CCPA.
The meeting was attended among others Home Minister Shivraj Patil. "Both our countries, India and the United Kingdom, and indeed the entire world have a common cause against terrorism," he said.
"The Committee condemns these attacks in the strongest terms and conveys its deepest sympathy to the British people in their hour of grief," it said.
