London Underground lines running day after blasts

London: Several London Underground lines were back in action today (July 8, 2005), a day after blasts ripped through three stations as well as a bus, killing at least 37 people.

Transport for London officials said sniffer dogs and extra police had been drafted in to monitor passenger safety as the network, used daily by three million people, slowly began to return to normal.
