Four killed in attack on Tiger office in Sri Lanka

Colombo: At least four Tamil Tigers were killed when unidentified attackers lobbed grenades at a rebel office in northeastern Sri Lanka today (July 10, 2005), officials said.

Men traveling in a van carried out the attack and escaped before security forces could get to the area in Uppaveli in Trincomalee district, officials said.

They suspected the attack to be the work of the breakaway Karuna faction of the Tigers.
