Kerala experts to boost health tourism in Bihar
Tuesday, July 12 2005 15:28 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Patna: Feeling low and totally stressed out? Does your body feel stiff like a log you find a burden to carry?

You need not go to far off Kerala for some therapeutic ayurvedic massage that would reinvigorate you, sharpen your dulled senses and bring you back in fine fettle to face the rigours of modern day life.

Medicated oil bath, massage and a wide variety of therapeutic ayurvedic treatments by 'Keraleeya Panchkarma' experts are now on the doorstep of Patnaites.

Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) and Healingveda Health Solutions, a Kerala based organisation engaged in promoting ayurvedic and naturopathic systems of treatment, have decided to sign an agreement to set up permanent health centres in the state capital and Bodh Gaya after the huge success of the ongoing camp here.

From massage to beauty care and anti-stress and mind relaxation therapies, the centres will provide a wide array of services at an affordable price.

"These health centres are being set up to promote health tourism and attract foreign tourists in which the expertise of therapists from Kerala will come in handy," BSTDC Managing Director Anand Kishan says.
