Chinese Minister presents seal to Kamal Nath
Tuesday, July 12 2005 14:48 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Dalian: In a goodwill gesture, Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai has presented a unique seal to his Indian counterpart Kamal Nath.

Bo and Nath, who met last night (July 12, 2005) on the sidelines of the Dalian Informal Ministerial Meeting, decided to work together for the benefit of the two countries and the developing world as a whole.

After their 50-minute meeting, described as 'warm and fruitful,' both ministers exchanged gifts.

Bo explained how the Chinese seal functions and told Nath that he could now use it as it has his name in the Chinese language.

Nath thanked Bo for the 'excellent' gift who hoped that the Indian Minister would soon pay an official visit to China.

Bo had earlier travelled to India with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in April this year.
