'Bill banning dance bars to pass in ongoing session'

Mumbai: Maharashtra government today (July 20, 2005) said the much-awaited Bill banning dance bars in the state would be passed in the on-going Assembly session.

"The Bill has already been introduced in the Lower House", Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said when Shiv Sena Legislator Nilam Gorhe pointed out that the Bill has not been introduced in the Upper House as yet.

Deshmukh said the Bill would be introduced in the Upper House after it is approved in the Lower House.
