Those in NDA should do some soul searching: Cong Wednesday, July 20 2005 21:57 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Congress today (July 20, 2005) sought to create trouble in the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) saying it was high time that the allies of the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) should decide whether or not to continue with the saffron party in the alliance due to its "total commitment" to RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
"Those in the NDA should do some soul searching about what future holds for them in view of RSS's total control of BJP", party spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan told reporters.
She said that the internal turmoil in the BJP showed that the RSS called the shots.
Natrajan said that the BJP has accused the Congress-led UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Government to be 'soft on terror' only to divert attention from its "total internal collapse."
