Thursday, July 21 2005 22:20 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

London: London police chief Ian Blair said today's (July 21, 2005) explosions on the city's transport system were "pretty close to simultaneous" but not all of the devices went off properly.

Spotlight: London bomb blasts

Comparing them to July 7 attacks here that left 56 dead, Blair said, "These are smaller devices, some of them have not gone off properly. We may have recovered forensic material. It may be important to our investigation."

The attacks were "pretty close to simultaneous", he added.
