Andhra CM distributes his portfolios to colleagues

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today (July 21, 2005) allocated all portfolios except Law and Order and General Administration Department (GAD) which were so far held by him to some of his cabinet colleagues on temporary basis.

While allocating additional portfolios to the ministers, the Chief Minister advised them to concentrate on the public issues relating to their respective departments effectively and efficiently.

He asked his cabinet colleagues to closely monitor the affairs of their departments to help the common man in resolving their grievances.

Information and Public relation minister Ali Shabir Mohd would hold additional charge of Energy and Coal, Home Minister K Janareddy was allocated additional portfolio of housing ministry.

Finance minister K Rosaiah would hold additional charge of health, medical and family welfare, panchayat raj minister J C Divakar Reddy would hold additional charge of endowments while commercial taxes minister Konathala Ramakrishna would be incharge of excise & prohibition, law and courts, according to an official release here.
