Bangalore: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is conducting school IT quiz - TCS IT Wiz - for the seventh consecutive year at Bangalore on August 6, 2005.

The annual event is part of TCS' community initiatives and is aimed at enhancing IT awareness among teenage school students, a TCS statement said.

It is open to school students studying from Class 8-12 (including Pre-University students).

According to N Ganapathy Subramaniam, Vice-President & Head TCS Bangalore Operations, "Every year, over 1,200 students take part in this annual TCS quiz, making it a keenly contested event.
