Ayodhya attack: Three drivers in custody released Wednesday, July 27 2005 20:36 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The three drivers, detained by the police after the terrorist attack on the makeshift temple in Ayodhya, have been released after completion of the investigations.
Principal Secretary (home) Alok Sinha told reporters in Lucknow today (July 27,2005) that Rehan, Raj Kumar and Yunus, who had driven the attackers from Akbarpur to Faizabad and then in Ayodhya have been released on completion of investigations but they might be summoned again if needed.
While Rehan, the driver of the jeep which was blown up by the terrorists, was taken into custody soon after the attack on July 5, Raj Kumar and Yunus were picked up later on the information provided by Rehan.
Raj Kumar had brought the terrorists to Ayodhya from Akbarpur, Sinha said adding they had used Yunus's vehicle for going around in Akbarpur.
