Wednesday, July 27 2005 10:12 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Washington: United States (US) President, George W Bush, is looking forward to his proposed visit to India next year, White House Press Secretary, Scott McClellan, has said.

"I know the President looks forward to visiting India next year," he said here yesterday (July 26, 2005).

The President meets with world leaders on a frequent basis and has opportunities to visit individually with world leaders at various summits or forums that are going on. So he looks forward to being there next year, as well," McClellan said.

Referring to recent visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Washington, McClellan said, "Certainly he had a very good visit with Prime Minister Singh."
