Gandhinagar: The Gujarat BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) today (Aug 1, 2005) issued show-cause notice to 'rebel' MLA Gordhan Zadafiya after he refused to take the oath during Chief Minister Narendra Modi's maiden cabinet expansion function held in the morning, party sources said in Gandhinagar.

Zadafiya has been issued show cause notice for his 'indiscipline' during the public swearing-in function and also for airing his grievances before media after the political drama.

State party president Vaju Vala told reporters that the show-cause notice was issued after discussion with senior party leaders and was returnable in four days.

Zadafiya, who is a staunch Keshubhai Patel supporter, had refused to go on to the dias to take the oath as a cabinet minister during an expansion of Narendra Modi cabinet.

He later told media that he did not want to be part of the cabinet as the problems of his supporters/workers would not be heard.
