Laloo case: SC seeks files on transfer of CBI judge

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Aug 01, 2005) asked the Patna High Court to give details and files pertaining to the promotion and transfer of special CBI Judge Yogendra Prasad, who was hearing the disproportionate assets case against Railways minister Laloo Prasad and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi.

Virtually restraining present special CBI judge from concluding hearing in the matter, the Apex court said that the trail cases would be adjourned till further orders after the prosecution completes its evidence.
