Former Karnataka Minister and senior Congress leader, D K Shivakumar today (Aug 6, 2005) said the Congress was watching keenly the developments in Janazta Dal Secular (JDS) and particularly the political situation created in the aftermath of dismissal of three ministers including Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
"Congress is not sitting quite. It is watching the developments and take decisions at appropriate time", Shivakumar, whose entry into the coalition Government was blocked by JDS chief H D Devegowda told reporters in Bangalore.
Shivakumar who met Siddaramaiah for the second time since yesterday (Aug 5,2005), described his meeting as a 'courtesy call' and ruled out efforts to bring the sacked leader into Congress.
"Siddaramaiah is still in JDS", Shivakumar a baiter of Gowda said.
