Kanchi Seer case: HC grants bail to two accused

Chennai: Two accused in the Sankararaman murder case were today (Aug 9, 2005) granted bail by the Madras High Court.

Granting bail to Arun and Silverstar alias Stalin, Justice S Sardar Zackria Hussain directed them to furnish personal bonds for Rs 25,000 each with two sureties for like amount.

Ordering the two to reside in Tiruchirappalli, the judge directed them to sign at a police station there twice daily.

Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi and his junior Vijayendra Saraswathi are the main accused in the case relating to the murder of a Kancheepuram temple official Sankararaman on September 3 last.
