Manipal: Prohibitory orders clamped for survey work

Manipal: Prohibitory orders under section 144 CRPC will be clamped in 30 villages of Kaup Hobli from today (August 10, 2005) till Aug 16, 2005, to facilitate survey work by Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB), official sources said.

In a statement, the Taluk Magistrate, K Muralidhar said the KIADB will undertake survey and property evaluation work in the region from today (August 10, 2005) and as a precautionary measure to avert any law and order situation, prohibitory orders were being clamped.
