Nanavati Commission report tampered with claims VHP
Wednesday, August 10 2005 09:59 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Bhopal: Terming the Nanavati Commission report as the 'biggest paradox', Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) yesterday (August 9, 2005) alleged that it was held back for 'some time' after being submitted and was tampered with.

"It is the biggest paradox (Nanavati Commssion report) that so many people die, politicians are involved in it, their names are not found in FIRs and no cases are registered against them," VHP Senior Vice-President, Giriraj Kishore, told reporters here.

"And when the report was submitted, it was held back for some time and changed," he added.

Resultantly, people have taken to streets, the VHP leader said.

To a query, Giriraj Kishore alleged that Mohd Ali Jinnah was neither a patriot nor father of Pakistan.

"Jinnah was not the father of Pakistan. Its actual founder was Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and Iqbal - the great poet. It was given shape by a Pathan - Rehmat-ul-lah, who completed his BA from Oxford," he claimed.

"Jinnah was never a patriot. Gandhiji's ego and his ego clashed. Till Tilak and his (Jinnah's) wife were alive he never revolted," he said adding, "He didn't perform namaz, didn't know Urdu or preachings of Quran."
