Bihar: Paswan disappointed with President's rule Wednesday, August 10 2005 17:08 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Patna:
Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Ram Vilas Paswan, who had backed President's Rule saying it was necessary for clearing the garbage, today (Aug 10, 2005) expressed disappointment over the functioning of the administration after induction of advisors to Governor Buta Singh.
''The first two-three months of the President's Rule starting March-end without advisors to the Governor worked very well, but after the induction of advisors, the scene has changed,'' Paswan, the Union Minister, told reporters.
''The performance of the first phase without advisors was praiseworthy when the Government took many decisions like raising retirement age of the Government employees from 58 to 60.
But the second phase of the rule after induction of advisors attracts little praise,'' Paswan said.
