Vichitraanna, a documentary now in the form of book

Bangalore: Vichitraanna, an infotainment weekly column appearing in the premier Kannada newsportal thatskannada.com a household name with the e-savvy kannadigas.

The wit-pun-fun filled Kannada column penned by Srivathsa Joshi - a software professional working in Washington DC area - has enthralled kannadiga diaspora spread across the globe and is marching ahead to complete its 150th episode. Perhaps a unique and significant achievement for Kannada in cyberspace, notwithstanding the domination of English language in that medium.

Collection of articles from this highly acclaimed and popular e-column is now coming out in book form. Bearing the same title "Vichitraanna", the book is being released on Saturday the 13th August, at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Gandhibazar, Bangalore.

Noted writer and theatre person Sri C.R.Simha will be releasing the book and Sri Vishweshwar Bhat, Executive Chief Editor Vijaya Karnataka, will speak about the author Srivathsa Joshi - who has flown to Bangalore all the way from Washington DC, to be present at the book release function.

Geeta Book House, Mysore have published this 400 plus pages volume which has an equally lively preface by Sri H.Dundiraj - the well known Kannada poet satire writer.
