SC to decide on the status of Governor's report

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (August 22, 2005) said it would decide on August 30 whether the report of the Governor, which formed the basis for dissolution of Bihar Assembly, can be subjected to judicial scrutiny or not.

The court also said although it was of prima facie opinion that notice cannot be issued to a Governor, due to the bar under Article 361 of the Constitution, it would decide on that day whether or not a notice be issued to him in this case.
