'Inactive' members have become imp in Sena: Rane Friday, August 26 2005 10:15 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Mumbai:
Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane yesterday (August 25, 2005) said there were no more loyalists in the Shiv Sena and the party now gave importance to those who were 'inactive' till recently.
"Shiv Sena is indulging in commercialisation of the Marathi psyche and also sentiments of the people on the issue of Hindutva. The party has no concrete agenda for the people,"
Rane said while addressing a public meeting at suburban Bhandup here last night (August 25, 2005).
"The only agenda of Shiv Sena now is to criticise and attack me," Rane said.
"I served the Sena loyally for 39 years and was expelled for raising the issues regarding functioning of the party," Rane said, adding, that the Sena was beginning to lose its appeal among the people.
