Hamid Karzai accepts PM invitation to visit India

Kabul: Afghan President Hamid Karzai today (Aug 29,2005) accepted Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's invitation to visit India.

At a joint press conference with Karzaii in Kabul, Singh said he looked forward to Karzai's visit.

"I have extended an invitation to President Karzai to visit India. He had accepted it. I look forward to receiving him," Singh said after wide-ranging talks with the Afghan leader on the entire gamut of bilateral ties besides exchanging perceptions on important regional and international developments.
