Mumbai: A light intensity tremor rocked some parts of Maharashtra today (Aug 30, 2005) around 2:23 p m with the epicentre at Satara, according to Meteorological centre here.

The tremor, 4.1 on the Richter scale, was recorded by the Met office and felt at Pune, karad and Mumbai, the Met officials said.

The tremor occurred at 17.3 degree North lattitude and 73.9 degree East longitude, the sources said.
