'Second thoughts are given to Pak court judgement'
Monday, September 5 2005 11:46 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

New Delhi: Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said yesterday (Sept 4, 2005) that second thoughts should be given to Pakistan court's death sentence to Sarabjeet Singh, accused of triggering blasts in that country in 1990, in the light of the change of stand by a key witness.

"The whole case has been worked out. Suddenly, the witness has changed the opinion. I don't know how much it will affect the case," he said.

"Since it is a case of death sentence and a doubt has come up, I think second thoughts should be given to the judgement," he said.
