Film actress Raveena Tandon has resigned as Chairperson of Children's Film Society of India (CFSI) in Mumbai, citing 'personal reasons,' an official spokesman said here today (Sept 5, 2005).
The spokesman said, "She wished to resign due to time constraints and other unavoidable circumstances due to which she would not be able to devote the time required to do justice to her duties as Chairperson of CFSI"
"She said that she found it increasingly difficult to balance her current commitments and workload," he added.
Her resignation has been accepted by the Information and Broadcasting Minister, S Jaipal Reddy, the spokesman said.
