Mumbai: Actor-politicin Govinda today (Sept 7, 2005) denied a newspaper report that he was planning to quit his North Mumbai Lok Sabha seat for personal reasons.

"This is the handiwork of some people who think I am a fresher in politics," Govinda told a TV channel.

"These people think I have just entered politics and want to extract the 'entry' fee," he said.

"There is no question of me quitting the seat. I am busy doing developmental work for my constituency," the actor-turned-MP added.
