CPI warns Cong against pushing Paswan out of UPA Thursday, September 8 2005 16:25 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Communist Party of India (CPI) today (Sept 8, 2005) announced that the party, along with Forward Bloc, Republican Socialist Party (RSP) and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP)-led by Ramvilas Paswan has reached a 'complete agreement' on fighting Bihar assembly polls together and warned the Congress that any attempt to drive him away from United Progressive Alliance (UPA) would be the 'beginning of the crack' in the coalition.
This was stated by CPI National Secretary D Raja after hour-long talks with Paswan, a day after Congress gave an ultimatum to the LJP leader to decide by September 23 if he wanted to contest the polls with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led UPA in the state.
