A 'two-day Training the Trainers Programme' is being organised by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) to develop exports from South Indian States to European Union (EU) Countries.
According to a release from S.Babu, President, EU-India Economic Cross Cultural Programme, here today (Sep8, 2005) the Training programme would be held here on September 11 and 12, 2005.
The training programme is funded under the EU-India cross-cultural programme to promote economic and cultural co-operation between India and the EU with the
Foundation for Economic Development, Vocational Training (SEQUA), Germany and German Confederation of Small Business and Skilled Crafts (ZDH), Confederation of Danish Industries (DI), (FKCCI) and AWAKE from Bangalore as project partners.
The training would give useful information on EU Economy, Conducting Market Research, Export Readiness, Marketing Strategies, Quality Standards etc for successfully exporting to European Union.
The objective is to educate existing and potential small medium entrepreneurs from South Indian States to gain information and develop exports from South Indian States to gain information and develop exports to EU countries. The participants for the training programme had been drawn from Chambers of Commerce and Industry Associations from Madurai, Dindigul, Tirupur, Karur, Coimbatore.
