Advani-Vajpayee to decide on Khurana issue: Naidu Saturday, September 10 2005 10:24 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

The latest crisis in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) following the expulsion of senior leader Madan Lal Khurana would be resolved amicably, party Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, has said.
"The problem will be solved amicably. BJP President L K Advani and former Prime Minister A B Vajpayee will decide on the matter", he told reporters at Chennai airport late last night (Sept 9, 2005)
Asked about his opinion on the expulsion of Khurana for six years from the party, Naidu said this was an 'internal matter of the party' and only 'newspapers were focusing' on the issue.
On the proposed National Executive Meeting of the party here from September 16, he said 'in my personal opinion' the meeting will take place as scheduled.
Asked whether there would be changes in the top leadership, he replied in the negative.
