Heavy rains continued to lash the city and suburbs, while the fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea, weather office sources said.
Sea will be rough to very rough with southwesterly waves and the fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea for next 24 hours. Signal No. LC 3 is hoisted along the
Maharashtra-Goa coast from Dahanu to Marmagaon, the sources said.
City and suburbs will have frequent spells of rain or thundershower with probability of heavy rains with southwesterly wind having a speed 50 to 60 kmph temporarily reaching 70 kmph, the weather office said.
