New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Sept 19, 2005) sought Centre's view on formulating guidelines for conducting student union elections in educational institutions across the country.

A bench comprising Justice Arijit Passayat anf Justice G P Mathur asked the Attorney General to respond within ten days and fix the matter for further hearing on October three.
