SC dismisses petition seeking DGP Gill conviction

New Delhi: The Supreme Court today (Sept 21, 2005) dismissed a petition filed by former Punjab DGP KPS Gill seeking review of the judgement upholding his conviction for outraging the modesty of a woman IAS officer Rupan Deol Bajaj.

The judgement on the review petition was passed by a bench comprising Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justice B N Srikrishna.
