Buta mute on SC proceedings on dissolution
Thursday, September 22 2005 14:15 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Patna: Refusing to be drawn into any controversy over the ongoing proceedings in the SC on the PILs filed by BJP and JD(U) MLAs against the dissolution of Bihar Assembly, Governor Buta Singh today (Sept 22, 2005) voiced unflinching faith in judiciary and expressed confidence that the SC would decide the issue 'in keeping with and within the ambit of constitution'.

Spotlight: Bihar Elections

'Do you want me to comment or make observations on the issue which is being examined by the Apex Court, it is not possible', Singh told media men who approached him for his comment on the allegations leveled against him by the BJP and JD(U) MLAs in connection with the dissolution of the state assembly.

"The matter is being examined by the apex court and making any comment on it will not be proper", Governor said.
