Nadar's misbehaviour earns 3 months imprisonment

Thiruvananthapuram: Former state minister and Janata Dal (JD) Secular (S) leader Neelalohithadasan Nadar was today (Sept 22, 2005) sentenced to three months' imprisonment by the first class judicial magistrate in Thiruvananthapuram in the case relating to alleged misbehaviour towards a woman IAS officer, Nalini Netto.

In his order, the First Class Judicial Magistrate Ravisankar also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 on Nadar, who was transport Minister in the previous LDF Government.

However, the operation of the sentence was suspended for one month to enable Nadar to go in appeal to higher court.
