Siddaramaiah and C M Ibrahim suspended from JD-S

Bangalore: Janata Dal - Secular (JDS) rebel leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and former Union Minister C M Ibrahim were today (Sept 22, 2005) suspended from the party on charges of indulging in 'anti-party activities and acts of indiscipline.'

The JDS' State Council meeting decision was announced to reporters by former Prime Minister and party supremo H D Devegowda who said it would be ratified by the National Executive meeting in New Delhi on September 29, 2005.
