IEDs recovered from a militant hideout in Rajouri

Jammu: Two Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) filled with 17 kg RDX were seized from a militant hideout in Rajouri district, official sources said today (Sept 24, 2005).

During an operation, security forces traced a hideout in Dehra Bagla area of Rajouri and recovered the IEDs last night (Sept 23, 2005), they said.

The sources said two more hideouts were busted by troops in Akramabad (Doda) and Gool (Udhampur) areas and one RPG, two of its shells, four UBGL grenades, two hand grenades, two AK magazines and 72 rounds of ammunition were recovered, the sources said.

However, no arrests have been made so far in these, they said.
