SIFAA condemns protest by groups near its office
Wednesday, September 28 2005 11:51 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Chennai: The South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) has condemned the demonstration held by members of some organisations, in front of the Association office here two days ago, while protesting against certain remarks allegedly made by South Indian film actress Kushboo.

In an attempt to maintain equidistance from the issue and taking a cautious approach, the association in a statement here last night (Sept 28, 2005) said the views expressed by Kushboo were her personal views.

It also advised its members to exercise restraint while giving interviews.
