Special train to Mysore during Dasara festival

Bangalore: South Western Railway will run a special train daily, except Sundays, between Bangalore City and Mysore to clear the extra rush during Dasara festival holidays.

The Bangalore City-Mysore Daily Special Express will leave Bangalore at 11.15 hours and arrive at Mysore at 14.00 hours. The service beginning tomorrow (Oct 3, 2005) will run till October 15, according to a release here today (Oct 2, 2005).

The Mysore-Bangalore City Daily Special Express will leave Mysore at 14.30 hours and arrive at Bangalore city at 17.30 hours. The service would begin tomorrow and would continue till October 15, the release added.

The train will run from Bangalore City via Kengeri, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur and Mandya to reach Mysore.

The train will comprise one AC chair car, 15 general second-class chair cars and two second class cum-luggage vans.
