We have no role in protests against Kushboo: PMK
Tuesday, October 4 2005 15:18 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Chennai: Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) founder Dr S Ramadoss and DPI general secretary Tol Thirumavalavan today (Oct 4, 2005) said their parties had no role in the series of protests against actress Kushboo's remarks on pre-marital sex.

At a joint press conference here, they said that the protests were 'spontaneous' by women and they were at a loss to understand why their party's names were being dragged into the controversy.

Thirumavalavan said Kushboo's remarks were against 'public order' and deserved to be condemned by one and all.

Ramadoss said if their parties were involved in protests against the actress, they would have done so throughout Tamil Nadu.
