RJD puts up brave front after SC ruling on Bihar Friday, October 7 2005 13:46 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
New Delhi:
Put on the defensive by the Supreme Court ruling that the dissolution of the Bihar Assembly was 'unconstitutional,' Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) today (Oct 07, 2005) said it was not a setback but declined to comment further without making a detailed study of the judgement.
"The Supreme Court has not stopped the election process," RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh said.
He said, as the Supreme Court has not reversed the dissolution of the Assembly, it should not be seen as a setback to his party.
"It is difficult to comment further without making a detailed study of the judgement," Singh said.
