The city police have tightened security at all important offices, including that of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy even as the ballistic experts were probing the cause of the powerful blast that ripped through the city Police Commissioner's Task Force office at Begumpet here, claiming two lives.
The ballistic experts, after visiting the site, have also ruled out involvement of any suicide bomber in the last night's blast, that has also left one person injured, sources said.
Talking to reporters here after visiting the blast site, which was a stone's throw away from the Chief Minister's official residence, Home Minister K Jana Reddy said the investigation has been intensified and the ballistic experts were trying to ascertain the reason behind the blast and have ruled out involvement of any suicide bomber.
Stern action would be taken against those responsible for the blast, Reddy said.
