JD (S) donates aid of Rs 10 lakh for quake victims

New Delhi: Janata Dal (Secular), headed by former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, today (Oct 15, 2005) donated Rs. ten lakh for the relief of earthquake victims in Jammu and Kashmir and in Pakistan.

Spotlight: Quake in North India

JD (S) General Secretary and spokesman Kunwar Danish Ali handed over a cheque for Rs. five lakh to Pakistan High Commissioner Aziz Ahmed Khan here (New Delhi) for relief work in the earthquake-ravaged areas of that country.

Ali also gave a cheque for Rs. five lakh to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund for quake victims in Jammu and Kashmir.
