Mumbai: The Bombay High Court yesterday (Oct 16, 2005) said that there were violations of regulation 58 of Development Control Rule (DCR) in the development of mill land belonging to NTC in the metropolis.

Hearing a PIL, the court said that one-third of the total mill land in the metropolis should be given to the State Government for housing, one-third should be reserved for open spaces and one-third of the land should be given to mill owners for development.
