Uma to join second phase of poll campaign in Bihar Thursday, October 20 2005 16:10 Hrs (IST) - World Time -
Bhopal:
As revolt by Uma Bharti loyalists against Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister was pushed to a cold storage, the fiery sanyasin is expected to join second phase of party electioneering in Bihar from tomorrow (Oct 21, 2005).
Bharti, who had deferred her return to electioneering in Bihar following a political upheaval here against Gaur for around three days, is likely to reach Begusarai on October 22 and later attend a public function in Bakhari by around 11 am, sources close to Bharti told sources here today (Oct 20, 2005).
The party leadership had yesterday informed her about her campaign schedule under the second phase of electioneering, the sources said adding apart from Bakhari, she will be
visiting Mohanpura Rajora, Barouni, Bachhwara, Patepur, Mahnar and Hajipur during the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, the hectic activity of disgruntled MLAs and ministers at her residence seems to have dulled since morning with her loyalists bowing to the decision by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership that issue of leadership change can be discussed after Bihar polls.
In a bid to recover her health high fever the fiery sanyasin spent most of her time resting today, sources added.
Though Bharti will be campaigning in Bihar, her supporters plan to continue with their meetings to chalk out their strategy, while remaining in constant touch with her over
phone, they said.
