Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Pharbandhak Committee (SGPC) Chief Bibi Jagir Kaur has sent six truckloads of relief material for the earthquake victims to Pakistan.

According to the press release of the SGPC here yesterday (Oct 27, 2005) the six truckloads of relief material have been sent to Pakistan through the land route of international Indo-Pak Wagah border here yesterday.

All the six trucks were carrying two thousand tents, five thousand blankets and three tons biscuits.

The entire relief material was handed over to Shabur Malik who is Cabinet Secretary of Pakistani Prime Minister by the SGPC chief Bibi Jagir Kaur at Wagah Joint Check Post (JCP).

Shabur Malik expressed thanks at Wagah JCP to SGPC Chief Bibi Jagir Kaur for sending relief material for the earthquake victims of Pakistan.
