80 USAF personnel leave for Kalaikunda air base Saturday, November 5 2005 15:37 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Around 80 US Air Force personnel who arrived here yesterday (Nov 04, 2005), left for the Indian Air Force base at Kalaikunda today (Nov 05, 2005) to take part in the six-day Indo-US air exercise beginning from November seven.
The USAF personnel were taken to the NSC Bose International Airport from their hotel under tight security.
Unlike the last two days, there was no demonstration by CPI-M activists either outside their hotel or the airport.
Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) MP Amitava Nandi under whose leadership demonstrations were held outside the airport in the past two days, said that the party had no such programme lined up for
the day.
A state-wide demonstration would be held by the CPI(M) led Left Front against the air exercise on November seven as also around the Kalaikunda air base in West Dinajpur district.
