J&K: Two militants killed, infiltration bid foiled

Srinagar: The security forces today (Nov 05, 2005) foiled an infiltration bid by killing two militants in Keran sector near Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.

Two militants, who managed to sneak into this side of the LoC, were killed at village Mundoo in Keran sector in the wee hours, the sources said.

They said further details of the incident were awaited.

Meanwhile, police recovered body of one Sajjad Ahmad from Rajpora village in Handwara area of Kupwara district, the sources said, adding the circumstances leading to his death were being ascertained.
