Natwar should either step down or dismissed: Mahajan
Sunday, November 6 2005 09:24 Hrs (IST) - World Time -

Mumbai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Pramod Mahajan yesterday (Nov 05, 2005) said that External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh should either step down or be dismissed in order to ensure fair and impartial inquiry into the Volcker committee report.

BJP will launch agitation at various state capitals demanding Singh's resignation and impartial inquiry into the issue, Mahajan told reporters here.

The agitation will be taken to the district level if Natwar Singh does not pay heed to the demand for his resignation, he said.

"Our party will also raise the issue in the winter session of Parliament commencing later this month," Mahajan added.
